An Exceptional Day

Like every weekend we make plans and when the weekend arrives it all changes. Well for this weekend we did the same , we planned up to go to gym to attend and try out our new class- Aqua fit.

This time for a change we made it the class late by 15 mins but still we did it Hurray ....I never knew pool would be so much fun other than swimming.
The workouts our trainer made us to do was so great. Luckily the depth of water is just 3 feet. Good for people like me who dont know swimming.We can just stand in the water.

  She will guide us with all the different exercise moves, from running, jumping, stretching, exercise with weights all in water.

Who knew Jumping, Running in water would be good for your health :)

One should try out this activity. At the end of the session you get such a good feeling about yourself , it just makes you feel great.

If you looking for some fun activity with a little workout than i would say this is one of the good workouts.So go for it :) and have some fun as I will be ;)

Cold Stone Creamery.

Yummy Yummy !! Ice cream. Cold Stone Creamery is one of the best ice cream parlor in Hartford. I can proudly say this and confirm it as i just had it this evening. It has its locations in Evergreen park near Buckland mall.

Today my hubby took me and one of our friend, to this delightful ice cream parlor. As the sun was setting we decided to have some ice cream. Just than he remembered why not try this new ice-cream parlor, well its quite old one but new for us.

When we entered their it was so crowded a huge long line, but the wait was worth. After a long wait and confused decision we decided to go with berry chocolate with Chocó chips mixed in it.

This parlor is different from all other parlors in town. What's different is that, here they will take your selected ice-cream and if you have any extra toppings to add, they will pound the ice-cream on a marble table floor and mix it and than serve it to you. Its amazing to see that , and it tastes so good.

Atlas its worth to wait in a long Q for the lovely ice-cream. We enjoyed every bit of it.

 

P.S: Don’t try the mix of chocolate with berry not so good , try the chocolate with Chocó chip brownie and fudge yummy..

The Best Surprise Day Of Feb 2010

Yup its my birthday.... yahoo im so happy to celebrate my birthday and cherish everything i have.. Thank you God for sending me to this planet , ya i know sometimes i say why did you ever send me here.. but on the birthday i love you so much ( God) so it doesnt matter if im here on this planet...
22 feb.. i started singing my birthday song, as you see my birthday starts as soon as feb starts.. so as it was getting closer to THE Day .. i was all excited .. so as soon as 22 came in , all the excitement came in and started jumping in my stomach.. hehehe i know sounds funny but it was that way..

The whole day i pampered myself, dressed up good, baked a chocolate cake for myself, ( I Love it ;) ), than prepared custard ... wonderful day.. just as the evening started got a call from one of my bhaiya here saying he needs to go to toys rus to buy gifts for his nephew and niece. Now how could i say no and since he was requesting me to come along and mithu busy at office and not able to make it to the shopping , had to go. Stopped my cake icing in middle thinking when mithu will be home, he shall complete it.. ( as he also had to contribute to my birthday isnt it .. that was my thought cake baked by me.. decorated by my honey hehehe)

Two long ours shopping for the kids, but guess what it was all a window shopping funny part was he dint buy anything and i did yeah i know me and shopping for kids, (please dont get wiered ideas its just i like to shop for my nephews and niece you see heheh)
well well two hours and i was tired  , and bhaiya is not buying anything just seeing the products and making a note of it in his mobile.. hmm for a min i was like what is he doing .. if he wants he can take a picture of it and check it online rather make a note of the product .. Man sometimes my brothers are way ahead hehehe..
atlast we headed back home , and my brother is trying to get me late to reach home asking me if i have to do some grocery or buy anything else or want to eat any ice-cream,...i was like naaa ya but grocery would be great , so we stopped by shop and stop , i called up mithu find if he is back home. He was and told me he was busy searching something to munch , i was like ok im coming home in few mins than prepare something for you..

Now comes the best part... we reached home.. met my friend on my way did some chit chat , she told she was just coming from shopping n i was like O good.. i carried on home , n guess what ----

Wow and Awesome were to two words that came out of my mouth when i entered ( Surprised eyes wide open) .. yup .. it was all the planning of my hubby to keep me out of the house for two hours and get it all done ( i was so innocent not to know all this ).. wow so nice .. and all the time i was thinking ,.. O man will mithu be able to do something , well if not no problem when i go back , i'll tell him chalo lets decorate..But I was surprised with what he did for me.. Wow wow.. I couldnt just stop saying the word awesome.. phewwwwww....IT's My Birthday.. the Surprise was like an icing on the cake , making my birthday feel so special and making it complete thats HAPPY BIRTHDAY (day to remember)

What i learnt at that time was.. Never give up on your dreams and expectation from your loved ones.. wait till the moment comes and it will surprise you for what it has stored in it for you :) just go with the flow have patience you never know what you'll get ;)

Now that my birthday had officially started i was jumping all around the place singing my birthday song and saying its awesom awesome (literally jumping ) hehehe.. My Honey just made it the best Birthday ...

Later on i came to know that he was planning this all from a long time , and i was for the first time had no idea of it .. it was his plan for me to go out with bhaiya ( now i get it why he was doing timepass) and my friend had come home to help out with decorations ( and she was trying to make up stories, that she had gone for shopping blah blah ) and i innocently belived them all wow.. what an idiot i am .. but im happy that i went out with bhaiya , i belived my friend and got a lovely surprise hehehe.. WOW...

Cut my cake at midnight with all my family and friends here whom mithu had invited and that was a surprise too.. so you see my surprise went all for a long time.. hehehe and the best part was my cake and the singing candle.. Wow..  with so many wonderful  gifts... :)

What an awesome start of my Day... So many wishes flowing by .Thank you all for the lovely wishes , which added on to my day making it the most special and wonderful day ... (Happy smiling)

23 rd FEB : THE DAY .As soon as i woke up I opened my window and guess what I got my first present of the day  gift from God ( White Snow) It was a white birthday yup ... my favourite ..just as i woke up i saw it was snowing ...what a start (amazing). Thank you GOD for the blessings and for my gift :) Love you so much.. :)

The day started , today i tried on a new dish Dabeli . With my sweetest friend at home, i celebrated my birthday along with her at home, having Dabeli with yummy Cake.. It was awesome .. And rest of the day distributing cakes and sweets to my friends around. As the evening arrived waiting for honey to come home,all ready to go out, waiting for honey to come home. Just as the time we were about to leave , got a call from the USPS guy that i have a package to collect..(wondering who would send me one)..  went running down to collect it..and to my surprise Mom and Dad sent me a surpirse package with loads of gifts and sweets wow..
Later we went to Temple and than from their went out with friends. Guess what the surprise was still on yeah.. My friends got me a cake at the restaurant and i got a present ... Lovely time..

Wow All the way i had a Surpirse and wonderful Birthday from the start till the end of day .. Thank you Mithu for celebrating me and making me feel so special I LOVE YOU SO MUCH .. and thank you all my dear ones far and near for showering your wishes and love adding to my day making it the most wonderful memorable birthday

Have patience and wait for the moment to happen, than assume about it and plan.You never know what is stored for you in the coming time. Just believe in your loved ones and be happy.

People touch your lives leaving an impression in one or the other way, making it a memory of life time ..and teaching you so many things about love, expectation, assumption, relation and so much more..  cherish it always.

Best Evening Of 2010

All waited for V-Sunday , as it was our first Valentine Day together after our wedding. Exciting as it was , was filled with surprises too.. Had no plans for the day , as mithu had to work on that day. I planed for a lovely breakfast followed by lunch and romantic dinner with a lovely gift for him and a hand made card reading " from me to you... " .

I was all set thinking , chalo merain pyaarain hubby ko kaam karna hain , humhin kuch kartain hain to make it a memorable day .. fir patachala humharain shahjahan to kuch aur hi plan kar rakha hain .. keeping it in suspense , despite of all his work on sunday , my dear hubby planned for a romantic evening , got me thinking , first i thought he is joking with me.... fir socha nahi yaar he n joking nah..my guess was a romantic dinner.
  As it was V-Day , we have to book in advance and i was thinking kaha time mila hoga book karnain kain liyain ..probably we might go to some hotel and the best part was he planned it just a day before when i was asleep .When i woke up he just said .. you have a surprise for tomorrow, nothing much i can tell you about it , just that pack your swin suit and get dressed for the evening .. hmmm now that got me thinking, Man my hubby is gone crazy , its so cold out their and he is taking me swimming whats on his mind , to get me freezzed was the thought running on my mind. Begged him so much to say it but nah.. he wont break.. ...
As the day started , as always i got up late and from breakfast the time came to lunch, so we had brunch :) hehe... Prepared gujrati mixed southindian brunch .. yeah i know sounds interesting .. well in the menu we had khaman dhokla and Dosa... :)..All morning i was thinking what it could be .. What is that mithu could plan for the evening .. hmmm no idea. Just few hints dinner, and have an extra pair of clothes and carry your swin suit hmmm now what would that be was all night running in my head.
Well the time came, as told i packed a pair of clothes my swim suit and we left around 4... from past hour we were driving , i was thinking arre yaar yeh mujhain kaha lain jaa raha hain .. itni dur ghar sain ...kya timepass kaar raha hain , phelain hi bata deta ki long drive pain jaa rahain hain , i wouldn't have got dressed up hehehe..

atlast for a hour drive we reached a place named Water's edge Resort and Spa.. Wow - was the word when i saw it .. it was a beach side resort beautiful and awesome .. as we got in ... came to know we have a booking for two for a swedish massage .. O Man that was awesome what a evening, relaxing massage it was 1hr of  eternal life.. and than swimming .. and after all that a romantic Italian dinner... Wow what more could i ask for the eveing ...

At the end of the day it was all fairytale come to life , a dream .. beautiful one.. You never know what is stored for you .. so many more surprises to come ,im looking forward for now.. Love you honey , thank you for the wonderful memorable evening.. you are the best .. will always be your valentine.. 

It was One of the best evening of 2010 ..

Always remeber One should always keep dreaming and expecting you never know when your dream will come true.. :)

Feburary 2010.. Started with a Birthday party and is still on with one.. every week have a party to attend.. Happy Birthday Week to Me...
Feb 1 birthday of a little boy , Feb 7th birthday of little princess, Feb 9 Birthday of my close friend , and my sweet little brother.. Feb 14th birthday of our relationship love, happiness, share , care ...just goes on and on ..
today i m so happy .. i feel world is such a wonderful place to live in .. so much to do , so  much to see, feel.. some movie i saw had these dialogues in its script .. -" cherish what you have , and embrace what you are"... kind of transferred to my script .. feels awesome..
A Birthday to Remember, its so nice and feel so happy when some one you know makes your day so special and happening for you to cherish and remember all through your life and remember it as good days .. in memory .. Just as that day each day is my birthday day from the 1st day of the month.. and my lovely honey makes it more special by adding a flavour of love to it .. What else do i need it to make it a day of my own.. yup before my Big Birthday day .. I have my mini days.. Happy Birthday to Me...

February is the month of love.. so does we all know.. and its my favorite for so many reasons.. One being the month of Love , forgiveness , passion , happiness... Second its the month when i landed on this heavnly place planet earth after pluto.. Pluto is my favorite planet .. why pluto .. well thats a different story someother time..

A new year begining for me.. Made new year resoltuions , many many resoltuions.. .1. Pamper yourself, 2. Be Happy , 3. Believe in yourself n your love. 4. Everything is possible. 5. Be Positive. 6. You R The Best and still more to add on... :)

Feb 1st.It was monday .. that day i pampered myself with nice face massage, saw movie- Cloudy with a chance of meatballs.. awesome movie.. inspiring .. "Never give up what you belive in ..Keep Moving Forward ".. i love animation.. dream to be in one sometime..
Spoke to my close ones about what i feel and think about , and it really helps.. made me feel so happy .. its nice to share with someone you care, love, you never know what you might get in return... which would be great for you... It was for me.. 
Moral of the Day - You know your are the best in your own way .. - You have to Just Believe in it , in yourself... Be Positive What ever happens, Happens for good...That's what my friends say and i believe in it..
Don't be afraid to share and talk your feelings with your loved ones, you never know what you would receive in return which would make you feel great.. just go for it..

Feb 2nd my day of internship at one of the place in near by mall.. lovely day .. came across so many different people .. at the end of the day got one thing straight , never assume about someone or something until you have worked or had your own personal experience , don't create a opinion based on what you have heard or seen..wait until you face it , learn it , experience it and than give your opinion.. you'll come to know what exactly it is.. instead of being in dilemma if it is good or bad.. you can do it or you cant...
Be brave and give it a shot , for everything their is a first time
Moral of the Day - Don't assume on what you hear or see, Be brave and give it a shot .. For everything their is a first time. Believe in yourself always.. and always keep smiling what ever the situation is .. :)

Feb 3rd - Its Tube Light Day. Tubelight as its all snow outside and when the light from the window falls into my hall and room its just like tubelight you dont need any other light to bright up your day.. Beautiful and lovely .. I Love this day.. Just Imagine God on the top floor has turned on his tubelights and it would be just like this .. And when its sunny its like he has his bulbs on hehehe.. so funny naa :) yeah..
Today im at home.. doing all my unfinished work.. and writing this blog.. my friends are so sweet .. good to have friends, they call up and see if you doing fine.. Man they all miss me hehhehe.. I love it :)

Moral of the day .... the day is not yet over .. so much to come.. ;)

New Motivation.. What can you achieve..

Ron N Roll Skates -

Gotchia , i know what you must be thinking , did she miss spell it  from rock n rol to ron n rol , nope my dear friend, its the name of the place where had been to skating hehehe.. see thats the reason we say dont go by the cover read the book ;) just kidding !! have fun reading my post..

This weekend me, manish and bapu bhaiya had been to roller skating to Ron n Roll. What a lovely adventorous experience. I was all excited.. thinking atlast my dream of roller skating is coming to live..

As soon as we got in, we could just see people skating all around .. it was a awesome view...We got our tickets , went to the shoe counter and got our skates. Thinking that the skates would be light weight, i just picked it up with one hand.. Man .. they are not light as they look.. quite heavy

.. with all the enthu i took those heavy shoes and tried it on .. phewwww now the skates are on but how do i get up from my seat .. my heart beating fast thinking where i'll fall when i stand up. so  i asked my dear hubby to give me a hand.... wow i could stand but what next .. after all of us had our skates on we tried walking to the ring.. some how reached the ring ..woobling and trembling .. as soon as you step on the ring floor .. it was so smooth.. it was like if you move you'll be on the floor ..thinking that I got hold of the side bars of the ring and desicided im not leaving these anytime. Manish was like come on baby lets try it out.. i was like you go ahead.. with some courage i some how tried to complete a whole circle by holding the bars and pushing myself ahead.....At some point there was this area which was so slippery and nothing to hold on to.. im trying to move forward, but my rollers are taking me back.. at the background i was thinking ... you are gone shikha thats it .. its all over.. just than manish came from behind and pushed me forward.. o that moment was a life saving . but the very next moment i slipped and  Bang!! i fell to the ground with a splash ... thank god there was no water else it would have been a splash out hehehe Got so hard on the buut i decided thats it im not doing any more..

But than when i saw those little kiddo's skating around  i thought .. What's this yaar ... lets get up and get rolling...its too much.. i cannot be behind..
After four hours of bing!! bang!! I was able to stand on my feet hehehe.. I was so happy and over whelmed.. all that sweating and hurting dint matter much.. just than the announcement came.. thank you all for coming.. we are closed for the day .. please move of the ring...
Well than what it was time to close the ring and we had to get out of their .. with my happy heart , i got out of their , it was a fun time. overall..and now im on bed rest with all the arms and legs paining and crying out loud telling ,who the hell asked you to go skating .. hehhee!!!
I m waiting to go again and try it out....

O in all this excitement i forgot to share.. Mr.Manish Jain won the game of four corners too... Their was this game which they played with the crowd who were intrested , manish gave a try but i did not try.. arre yaar who would skate with those fast skaters , if i would have gone .. i would be at the same place where i started hehe.. wouldnt have moved at all ;) well manish won it dont know how but he did it hurray we got a free coke :)

Everyone should try out this... Its awesome.. brings back all your childhood memories.. and its fun to play around.. Now my new year resolution has one more resolution in it - To be a good skater by the end of the year, if not dance with it atleast be able to skate freely around ....  ;) hehehehe...

What will be next adventure.. hmm hoping to be skiing.. ?

Changing my blog names...

Changing my blog names... Phew it took me long to decide with the name.. first it was hmm i dont even remeber what it was, than it was do kadam, du kadam, man.. i just went on and on .. atlast i have got it ..
It was infront of me and i couldnt see.. but as they say its the time, all that matters.. when the time is right it all comes to you ... actually time is always right, its just that we are not satisfied.. atleast i was not but now im  This is it... Hurray .. i am so happy ..

Colorful Table Top
